Penguin Random House Canada unifies its Canadian publishing divisions, led by Kristin Cochrane

Penguin Random House Canada has announced that effective immediately, Canadian publishing for all of the merged company’s imprints will fall under a single unified division, Penguin Random House Canada Publishing Group.

Random House of Canada president and publisher Kristin Cochrane will serve as Penguin Random House Canada president and publisher, continuing to report to CEO and president Brad Martin.

Penguin Books Canada publisher and Penguin Random House Canada vice-president Nicole Winstanley will remain at the helm of Penguin Books Canada and related imprints, now reporting to Cochrane.

The remaining Penguin Random House Canada senior publishing staff will stay unchanged and will continue to report to Cochrane.

Similar consolidation will occur in the company’s children’s literature and marketing departments.
