Penguin Random House Canada restructures marketing department

In conjunction with changes in its publishing sector, Penguin Random House Canada has announced it will merge its marketing initiatives company-wide.

Penguin Canada vice-president of marketing and publicity Beth Lockley will serve as Penguin Random House Canada vice-president of marketing, reporting to president and CEO Brad Martin.

Penguin Random House Canada senior vice-president and director of corporate communications Tracey Turriff will now serve as vice-president of publicity and senior vice-president of corporate communications, continuing to report to Martin.

Random House of Canada senior marketing director Constance Mackenzie will take over advertising and promotion for all of Penguin Random House Canada, with marketing designers Anthony De Ridder and Ruth Dwight newly reporting to her.

Penguin Canada marketing director Charidy Johnston will extend her national accounts marketing work company-wide, continuing to report to Lockley. Jackie Cunningham, remaining in her current role in national accounts marketing, will now report to Johnston.

Penguin Random House Canada ‎senior digital marketing associate Lindsey Reeder and marketing director Randy Chan will both continue in their roles, but will now report to Lockley.

Penguin Group Canada senior publicist Erin Kelly will oversee all publicity assistants company-wide, and will herself report to Turriff.

Random House Canada publicity director Nicola Makoway will be departing amid the company’s restructuring.
