The debut novel from Saskatoon poet Elizabeth Philips (A Blue with Blood in It and Beyond My Keeping, both of which won the Saskatchewan Poetry Award) features a man who obsessively rebuilds skeletons of birds and animals, and his brother, who literally tries to outrun the tribulations in his life.
