Fans of Kelley Armstrong and Melissa Marr’s middle-grade Blackwell Pages trilogy may have to wait until May 2015 for the final title, Thor’s Serpents, but until then, here’s an exclusive look at its cover.

Marr, who is best known for her Wicked Lovely series, told Q&Q: “I’m thrilled to be sharing my favourite of the three Blackwell Pages covers, and I’m even happier to be doing so on a Canadian site because I’m still smiling every time I think about my trips up north when Loki’s Wolves [the first book in the series] was a Red Maple finalist this past year for the Ontario Library Association’s Forest of Reading.”

Thor’s Serpents reunites 13-year-olds Matt, Laurie, and Fen as they assemble the other descendants of the Norse gods for their biggest challenge yet: “battling the fierce monsters working to bring about the apocalypse.”
