Event photo: monsters in Lower Bay Station for Mind Gap

At the end of March, Dundurn Press hosted a group of schoolkids in Toronto’s seldom-seen Lower Bay Station to celebrate the release of Marina Cohen’s novel Mind Gap. Given that the novel involves scary, supernatural hijinks on the subway, Dundurn invited some special guests to get into the, er, spirit. Seen here are Deborah Kerbel (Lure), Natale Ghent (Gravity Brings Me Down), and Hélène Boudreau (Real Mermaids Don’t Wear Toe Rings). According to those present, the spookiest part of the day was the sound of the trains rumbling unseen overhead. (Photo courtesy of Dundurn)
