    Wow. They misused “insure”.

  • Anonymous

They also forgot to mention the changes that are already being planned for the spring. I find it interesting that they did not mention that they are planning to distribute to Canadian book sellers themselves. “We do not have systems in place to ship trade books directly into Canada.” – He forgot to say until April.

  • Grammar Police

And you, Bradley Ferguson, misused the plural pronoun as if it were a neuter singular pronoun (which, as most grammar snarks know, English does not have). Maybe you should mind your self-righteousness supply, which you seem to be squandering.

  • Anon

@Anonymous – how would you know what they were planning? and why would they mention it in this letter? it has no bearing at all – even if that was the case, it doesn’t mean anything he said wasn’t true

  • Anon2

@Anonymous and @Anon. It does have a bearing. Alot of people knew about the plans for April. And it’s more than possible that those plans had an impact on what happened in the distribution business last week.

  • Anonymous

@Anon. How I know what they are planning is not the issue. The issue is exactly as ANON2 put it. It does have bearing especially to the 125 people that were let go.

@Anonymous @Anon2 The letter was addressed to ‘Canadian Booksellers’ with short term instructions of where to go from here. You’re making accusations based on a nothing more than a possibility and it is completely baseless.

If you remember, Hachette Book Group changed their relationship with them 2 years ago as well. There are many factors that could have contributed to Fenn having to close its doors:
