Why is a used bookstore in Toronto considered news? You do realize that this isn’t the Toronto Quillblog, right?

It’s not too big a surprise that MS would put money behind a group opposing Google; in the past they’ve also put a lot of money into the Open Content Alliance’s book scanning efforts, Google Book Search’s direct (and legal) competitor.

A used bookstore is considered NEWS because that’s the only place you can get great literature that is NO LONGER BEING PUBLISHED!

Really? In that case, I look forward to Quill reporting used everytime a used bookstore opens in Montreal, Vancouver, Halifax, Calgary, Victoria, Winnipeg, St. John’s, Hamilton, London etc.

The idea that a used bookstore in Toronto is of national interest is ridiculous.
