Using household appliances to promote your book, Miranda July-style

Cover of No One Belongs Here More Than YouNo, this is not some kind of a free draw for a TV, it’s Miranda July’s homemade website promoting her collection of short stories, No One Belongs Here More Than You, which Scribner is publishing this spring (in two colours). July, whose art has been presented at the Museum of Modern Art and the Guggenheim, whose debut feature film Me and You and Everyone We Know won prizes at Sundance and Cannes, and whose stories have been published in The Paris Review and The New Yorker, created the website using her refrigerator and stove as dry-erase boards for text.

Umm, you kind of have to see it, but Quillblog is highly amused, particularly by her switch from the fridge to the stove, and recommends taking a look. By the way, those hand-drawn link buttons on the stove actually work.
