The co-creator of Wowee Zonk, Patrick Kyle has a new single-authored graphic novel out with Koyama Press in September. In Distance Mover ($20 pa.), Mr. Earth and his young protégé team up to travel to a series of fantastical locales and do battle with “the all-conquering Ooze.” • Koyama will also publish an anthology of comics from up-and-coming genre star Walter Scott. Wendy ($18 pa., Nov.) follows the eponymous protagonist through urban adventures filled with alcohol, music, and heartbreak. • From Conundrum Press’s BDANG imprint comes the first book in English by Montreal illustrator Simon Bossé. Loiterers ($18 pa., Oct.) is a single-volume omnibus containing three of Bossé’s underground novellas.
