Debra Anderson wins Dayne Ogilvie Grant

The Writers’ Trust of Canada has named Toronto author Debra Anderson as the recipient of the third annual Dayne Ogilvie Grant. The $4,000 grant is given to an emerging gay Canadian writer.
 
Debra Anderson is the author of the novel Code White, published by McGilligan Books in 2005, and the play Withholding. The jury was composed of writers Derek McCormack, Shani Mootoo, and Karen X. Tulchinsky.
