When I picked up Stevie Howell’s ^^^^^^ ^^^^^^ ^^^^^^ (or [Sharps]), I instantly fell for the striking minimalism of the design. The title/cover art – three even rows of hieroglyphs – appear tone-on-tone, offset from the solid background colour only through debossing. Howell’s name and the imprint name offer just enough contrast in a clean white sans-serif, with no additional clutter to distract the eye. Contrary to its jagged title, [Sharps] is a beautiful, tactile object, and a joy to hold. – Kate Hargreaves
