The Canadian Children’s Book Centre will host a seminar on Oct. 24 called “So You Want to Get Published!”

The morning event, to be held at the TPL’s Northern District Branch, will feature a panel including Penguin Random House Canada Children’s Publishing Group publisher Tara Walker, Penguin Canada Young Readers Publishing Director Lynne Missen, Maria Martella, Owner of kids’ book wholesaler Tinlids Inc., and author-illustrators Ruth Ohi and Kevin Sylvester, who will offer insight into what publishers look for, how to make contact, how booksellers decide what to sell, and more.
