Priscila Uppal, Rishma Dunlop seek submissions for book on creative writing studies

The Canadian Creative Writers and Writing Programs association has put out a call for essays on the field of creative writing studies from a Canadian academic perspective. The book, tentatively titled Creative Writing in the 21st Century: Pedagogy, Research, and Practice, is the result of CCWWP’s second conference, which took place in May in Toronto. It will be edited by poets and professors Priscila Uppal and Rishma Dunlop.

From the call for submissions:

This will be the first major Canadian academic book focused on the field of creative writing, and therefore we will be seeking essays that address the wide spectrum of creative writing theory, pedagogy, research, and practice.

The deadline for entries has been extended to Sept. 30.
