Burgess, Couture among ReLit winners

Tony Burgess has added a second ReLit ring to his collection of awards. Having won the prize in 2004 for his story collection Fiction for Lovers, he nabbed a second for his 2010 story collection, Ravenna Gets (Anvil Press).

Toronto author Dani Couture won in the poetry category for her latest collection, Sweet (Pedlar Press). Craig Francis Power won in the novel category for Blood Relatives (Pedlar).

This is the 11th year for the awards whose motto is “Ideas, not money.” The ReLit was founded in 2000 by Newfoundland writer Kenneth J. Harvey.
