Event photos: Scotiabank Giller Light Bash

Last night, the ninth annual Giller Light Bash was held at the Berkley Church in Toronto (a simultaneous event was held in Winnipeg). The party, hosted by MTV’s Alyia-Jasmine Sovani (who dropped more than a few memorable f-bombs from the stage during the festivities), was attended by industry types, writers, and booksellers who watched a live telecast of the Giller ceremony, participated in numerous raffles, and drank copious Doris-tinis (named after Doris Giller, the award’s namesake). As always, proceeds went to support Frontier College’s literacy program. (Photos by Bruce Peters/courtesy of the Scotiabank Giller Light Bash Toronto)
