Amy Poehler to publish “non-linear diary” with HarperCollins

Following in the footsteps of her best-selling BFF Tina Fey, Amy Poehler is the latest celebrity to sign a book deal.

The spring 2014 title is described as an “illustrated, non-linear diary full of humour and honesty and brimming with true stories, fictional anecdotes and life lessons.” It will be published in 2014 by It Books, HarperCollins’ pop-culture imprint.

The book was acquired by It Books executive editor Carrie Thornton in a tandem deal with HarperCollins Canada senior editor Kate Cassaday.
