Do you love Canadian books? Want to learn more about the publishing industry? Then Q&Q’s editorial internship may be right for you.

Q&Q is accepting applicants with excellent communication and writing skills, who are eager to experience all aspects of magazine and online journalism. The internship provides a unique opportunity for talented and promising students/recent graduates in our industry to train and prepare for real-life career employment in the publishing and digital media world. Only students in an academic program requiring internship or co-op experience will be considered.

As an intern, you will blog for the Q&Q website, proofread and fact-check for the website and the print magazine, update online events listings, prepare photos, and compile bestsellers’ lists. Interns will have opportunities to report on and shoot photos of industry events.

Q&Q internships are full-time and run for four months, beginning in January, May, and September. Though the internship is unpaid, successful candidates will have opportunities to freelance stories for the magazine.

To apply, send a cover letter, resume, and clippings to editor Stuart Woods.
