Photos: Julie Devaney book launch

On Sept. 19, close to 100 people gathered at Toronto’s Gilda Club to celebrate Julie Devaney’s new book, My Leaky Body: Tales from the Gurney (Goose Lane Editions), a memoir of the theatre performer’s experiences with the Canadian medical system.

Robin Duke, best known for her roles on SNL and SCTV, introduced Devaney, who wore a hospital gown for her reading.
