In light of news that author Jonah Lehrer fabricated quotes in his bestseller, Imagine: The Science of Creativity, his U.S. publisher, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, announced it is halting sales of the book.

Lehrer’s Canadian publisher, Penguin Canada, is following suit. In a statement to Q&Q, Beth Lockley, Penguin’s executive director of publicity and marketing, writes, “Penguin Canada is currently reviewing the situation and exploring all options. In the meantime, we will not be shipping copies or selling the ebook of Imagine.”
