Event photos: Type Books cuts the ribbon at new Toronto location

The new location of Toronto mini-chain Type Books may have been open for a few days now, but yesterday the store held the official ribbon-cutting ceremony, attracting luminaries from the worlds of books and politics.

Type Books co-owners Samara Walbohm and Joanne Saul flank former Ontario premier David Peterson and his wife, Shelley Peterson, who is the author of Mystery at Saddle Creek (Key Porter Books).

Doubleday Canada publisher Kristin Cochrane with author and Globe and Mail columnist Rebecca Eckler, author of The Mischievous Mom at the Art Gallery (Key Porter).

Hachette Canada’s Donna Nopper with Globe and Mail books editor Martin Levin.
