Book Summit sets lineup
This year’s Book Summit – which is moving to Harbourfront following the folding of BookExpo Canada – has firmed up its schedule. It takes place on June 19 and the theme is “Giving It Away: Books, Business, and the Culture of Free.”
Panellists and workshop leaders include online-culture guru Darren Wershler, agent Dean Cooke, Anansi president Sarah MacLachlan, execs from Harlequin and HarperCollins U.S. (Brent Lewis and Carolyn Pittis, respectively), and Book Summit regulars Mike D’Abramo of Youthography and Mike Shatzkin of Idea Logical, among others.
