It’s official: Reed cancels BookExpo
In a just-released release, Reed Exhibitions has announced that it is closing BookExpo Canada “effective immediately.” There is no specific mention of Reed’s proposed fall event, but the release does say, “Our focus on the publishing industry now centers on our event in New York and we look forward to serving the needs of our customers in North America most effectively with a singular event.” (Update: the fall event is also a no-go.)
