Event photos: Griffin Poetry Prize gala
The Griffin Poetry Prize gala was held in Toronto’s Distillery District last night, and as usual it was a lavish, well-attended affair. The big-time celebrity quotient seemed lower than in the past, however, and you got the distinct impression that more attendees than usual were actually interested in poetry, which made for a warm, attentive vibe.
