Event photos: ECW + BEA = LOL

ECW Press was amongst the Canadian contingent at Book Expo America in L.A. last week, and the staff brought along a few of the house’s authors. Judging by the photographic evidence, a good time was had by all. (Photos courtesy of ECW Press.)

Bob Calhoun (a.k.a. “Count Dante,” author of Beer, Blood and Cornmeal), ECW publicity director Simon Ware, and Edward Winterhalder (author of The Assimilation).

“Count Dante” puts a sleeper hold on the Association of Canadian Publishers’ Kate Edwards while ECW co-publisher Jack David looks on.

  1. Count Dante says:

I just posted about this on my author blog…

That pic of me with Ware and Winterhalder (not a law firm) must be a keeper because I put it in my blog before finding this one. A good time was had by all — even those fearless librarians, lit lovers and booksellers who braved my deadly choke hold!

All the best to the best from the best,

    Count Dante aka Bob Calhoun
