Most publishers hope their books won’t get a cold reception, but to kick off the Canadian promotional tour for author Daniel Kalla’s new thriller Cold Plague, H.B. Fenn and Company decided to give Kalla a very chilly welcome to Toronto by encasing his book in ice. H.B. Fenn staffers dressed in medical scrubs brought their “cool” marketing campaign to the busy downtown corner of Bay and Bloor on May 13.
