A room of one’s own
In a special report, The Guardian takes a look at authors’ writing rooms. The article includes photos of the rooms (which don’t look like the authors prepared them to be photographed). The accompanying text is written by the authors and reveals a little about their methods of writing and the reasoning for the rooms’ setups. Six authors participated, including A.S. Byatt and Beryl Bainbridge (who apparently has a toy gun collection.)
