Get well soon, Seamus
Seamus Heaney, Irish poet and Nobel Prize winner, is recovering from a “mild stroke,” as the Irish Independent reported on Sunday.
“The 67-year-old poet, famous the world over, is believed to have taken sick a number of weeks ago. After a short stay in hospital, Mr Heaney returned home where he has since been recovering. He is being cared for by his wife Marie.
Marie said yesterday that the family had no comment to make on the illness.”
Quillblog wishes him a thorough recovery.
