Woodward’s Bush book at a glance
Bob Woodward’s latest book on Bush, State of Denial, is his longest yet — at 576 pages, it’s something of a tome. Fortunately, John Dickerson at Slate has thoughtfully put together a reader’s guide to the book, noting the numbers of the juiciest pages.
Quillblog is especially curious about page 98, which Dickerson tells us features a haiku about Donald Rumsfeld, written by senior military man Col. Steve Rukoff:
“Rumsfeld is a dick
Won’t flow the forces we need
We will be too light.”
