Ich bin ein Frankfurt blogger
The 2006 Frankfurt Book Fair begins on Wednesday, October 4. This year, the organizers have set up an official blog for the fair on their website, but sadly, it appears that all of the blogging will be in German.
Here’s an early sample: “Es gibt so einen geflügelten Satz unter Autoren, der da lautet ‘Als ich zum ersten mal auf der Buchmesse war, fühlte ich mich plötzlich unendlich klein und unbedeutend. So viele Bücher — da schien meines plötzlich so wertlos.’ Nicht selten ergänzt um ein augenzwinkerndes ‘Und erkannt hat mich auch niemand….’”
To which we at Quillblog can only answer a hearty “Ja!”
