Hot for author

The Gawkerites posted an e-mail recently from an editor at the shopping magazine Lucky. Lucky was looking for an author to profile, but had rather specific requirements “We would like to feature an attractive female author that has a newly released book, in our August issue. We are looking for an author that is between the ages of 25 and 35 and has written a sophisticated/intelligent book,” the editor, one Catherine Dash, wrote.

MediaBistro’s Galleycat was quick to offer some help and compiled a list of, dare we say, attractive female authors with books coming out soon. While the initial list comforms to the Lucky request by featuring only female authors, the Galleycats are looking for more hot authors, male or female. Do any Canadians come to mind?
