Better a bomb than a boring event

Vintage U.S. publicist Lisa Weinert shares some of her scariest and strangest on-the-job moments in a piece for the Book Standard site. Weinert’s stories include the time she had to book a live, not-very-media-friendly wolf for The Late Show in support of a book on the wolves of Yellowstone Park and the tale of how a bomb threat before a reading led to an unexpected promotional opportunity for one of her authors, proving again that any publicity is good publicity.
