Flood book in high demand

Steven McElroy of The Associated Press reports on the online sales of a book about the 1927 flood along the Mississippi River. First published in 1998, Rising Tide: The Great Mississippi Flood of 1927 and How It Changed America has experienced a resurgence in sales, rising to No. 11 on Amazon.com’s bestseller list by Sunday afternoon. The book’s publisher, Simon & Schuster, saw an upturn in sales last week and said it would print an additional 10,000 copies.
