30-year old manuscript to romp once more

Knopf plans to release a book penned by the recently deceased Marlon Brando this September. The book, a pirate tale billed by the publisher as a “swashbuckling, delectable romp,” was written more than 30 years ago with screenwriter and director Donald Cammell. Knopf claims the book was more than a passing hobby, and says the tale may be semi-autobiographical, with lead pirate Anatole “Annie” Doultry sharing many of his author’s penchants.
