Thanks, Trevanian
In The Georgia Straight, Ron Yamauchi considers his literary hero, Trevanian. Part of the magazine’s Summer Books section, the article tours through the author’s works, then recommends his autobiography, The Crazy Ladies of Pearl Street. Yamauchi’s description of his awkward teen years, and the inspiration he drew from the author’s works, ends in a word of thanks: “I’ve never considered the tools he’d given me, the feelings he’d defined, the influences that shaped his acerbic and vigorous mind,” he writes.
