Calling all dragon tamers

The success of 13-year-old Emma Maree Urquhart’s Dragon Tamers, which sold out of its initial print run of 50,000 in only six weeks, may be encouraging other British publishers to take a chance on other young fantasy writers. As The Independent reports, new prodigies Robert King, 14, and Sophie Codman, 16, have already been signed on with Urquhart’s publisher, Aultbea.
