Canada Prize finalists announced

The Canadian Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences has announced the nominees for the Canada Prize, which honours the best scholarly book in those subjects. The prize recognizes both English and French titles.

The four winners receive $2,500 each and will be announced at the Federation’s annual conference March 23, held at Ottawa’s Marriott Hotel.

Canada Prize in the Humanities

  • François-Marc Gagnon, Réal Ouellet, and Nancy Senior, The Codex Canadensis and the Writings of Louis Nicolas (McGill-Queen’s University Press)
  • Elena Lamberti, Marshall McLuhan’s Mosaic: Probing the Literary Origins of Media Studies (University of Toronto Press)
