Dave Bidini

Dave Bidini
The Rheostatics guitarist’s 1998 touring memoir, On a Cold Road: Tales of Adventure in Canadian Rock (McClelland & Stewart), was short on the coked-out sex romps of Keith Richards or the Crüe, but it was still essential reading for ’90s Canadian indie-music fans. The book also launched Bidini’s writing career – he now has 10 more titles on music and his other passion, sports, under his fedora.
